Details On How The Brassy Set Was Made

The Brassy Top and Skirt dropped a few weeks back. It was one of the most shopped pieces at the Crafther Market that we recently participated in.

Before I made the set; I had no idea what it was going to be. I only knew that I have this fabric that was the same color as a pair of stud earrings that I love.

(You can shop it on the site.). After finally settling on a skirt set; I sketched out the idea and went to work.

Most of my time was spent making the tops because each strap was made individually.  Then they had to be ironed and sewn on.

The burgundy with a pop of red was a great way to play up the retro feeling that the skirt gives.
