If you have been watching my YouTube channel, you would’ve seen a preview to some of the new fabric that will be used for the Fashion Not Fear Collection.
The first piece was created and the outcome was the Cheeky Jacket. It debuted last week.
This latest piece will be available later on this week and it’s coming along nicely.
It is made up of purple with a brown pinstripe. Those two colors might not seem like they coordinate. But take it from me when I saw, it’s a great combination!
Here is a rough sketch of the upcoming piece.
This is going to be a good one! But I feel like I always say that?! Stay tuned for the drop!
Sometimes buying a whole new wardrobe isn’t in the budget. And other times, buying a whole new wardrobe isn’t needed. An upgrade might be the only thing you need to take your style from, “oh, hell nawl“ to “oh, hell yeah!”
Here are 5 pieces you can add to your fashion arsenal that will instantly upgrade your look.
A matching set is essential. These two pieces alone can give you endless style options. Take the top and match it with your favorite skirt, wear it over a dress, or with your favorite hip hugging jeans. Or pair the skirt with a graphic tee, a sweater, a tank and moto jacket. I can go on and on…a matching set is where it’s at. Trust me on this one.
A printed jacket is a serious upgrade from the regular black or brown jacket everyone else is walking around wearing. This is another piece that you can throw on with anything and boom…you just shifted your style up a level.
Ever heard the saying, “Add a little sparkle everywhere you go”? It’s truly words you can style by. Adding something as simple as a pair of sparkle earrings can really do the trick in upgrading your style.
Which is your top upgrade pick?? Let me know in the comments…
A few weeks back, a preview sketch was released of the latest pieces to be available in the handcrafted collection, Fashion Not Fear Collection.
I’m excited to announce that the Cheeky Jacket dropped today!
It’s made of a plaid print featuring colors of brown, tan, pink, ivory, and black. And the fact that it’s cotton makes it heavy enough to block the wind but light enough that you can still wear pieces under it without feeling too hot.
I love that this jacket doesn’t have any front buttons or zipper closure. This helps you to tightly tie the sash and accentuate the waist.
Now, let’s talk sleeves!! These vintage inspired sleeves are EVERYTHING. The have a form fitting lower portion that tightly fits the wrist. The upper parts is puffy around the elbow area.
If classic with a twist is your style. Then you will find yourself wearing the right thing.
And did I mention the matching skirt??
The skirt has a phone pocket. Yes, you read that right.
Wrap yourself in this Fall worthy beauty today!

If you haven’t shopped the daily sale for the past few days, you are really missing out. If you haven’t heard, each day it’s 50% off a selected item for one day only!
Today is one of my favorite dresses. It’s sexy, has a vibrant color, and I love the slinky material that it’s made out of.
A couple of days ago, I posted a sketch on IG of the first piece from the Fall 2021 FNF Collection.
Right after that post, I got to work on constructing the garment. And although, I loved the rough sketch. I have made alot of changes to it once I started manipulating the fabric.
This collection may be the best one yet!
Have I said that before?
Nevertheless, I feel this way for a few reasons. Firstly, the fabric that I’ve sourced. The classic prints range from the colors of the sun to the multitude of colors found on the leaves that are about to start falling from the trees.
Another reason this may be the best yet is because of the construction. Each collection I create, I try to involve more techniques and aim to put my own spin on things. Pinpointing my signature style (although I haven’t quite found it yet) is my main goal. That will be reflected in this collection.
Also, since some of us are still in the house 24/7 and others are outside. I felt that it was necessary to make dresses that you can wear both in the house and if you’re out and about.
The first piece will be released next week and I can’t wait for you all to check it out.
Summer isn’t over, yet. Let’s be honest, we’ve been stuck in the house for so long that sitting by a pond with a cocktail in a can sounds like a vacation! Plus, it’s always sunshine somewhere, so a coverup can be somewhat of a fashion necessity, right??
Well, when you find yourself poolside (or pond side) you can’t forget your coverup. Its just as important as the actual swimsuit.
Not too long ago, a sketch of the collection was dropped. Although there have been some changes to it.
Get your can of wine and bathing ready and check out the new Fashion Not Fear Coverup Collection.
The Up & Down Sarongis a bit beyond what you would consider maxi length. This gives you the option of tying it multiple ways. Around the cheats, waist, or neck.
If you’re more of a shorts person, then the Wild Child Setis the way to go! It has a zebra pattern that is so unique and you can wear the top with other pieces you already have in your closet.
The Network Coverup is like adding a layer while keeping everything on display. It’s when you covering up without covering up. From the hot pink color to the one arm sleeves, this piece will grab their attention.
When you’re looking for all glamour and drama…you will want to cover yourself in The Muu. It’s made of a chiffon material and ties on each side. It graces the floor and screams girly!
Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments…
Weddings seem to be finally back on after they came to a screeching halt due to COVID. Although, I myself had to have a courthouse wedding due to the pandemic. Can’t wait for a do-over in a beautiful gown (but I’ll save that story for another day).
If you find yourself back to receiving invites and not knowing what to wear. Don’t stress yourself. Stay in and let us do all of the work. Here are some ideas on what to wear the next time you’re on the guest list. And they can be sent right to your doorstep, of course.

A few months back, I held the first of many Custom Dress Giveaway. The winner was sent sketches of 3 different looks to choose from.
The winner chose option B. After picking the style, she was also given the opportunity to select their color and fabric choices. She was sent photos of various colors and printed fabrics.
She ultimately said she wanted a color combination of red and purple. Also, that she wanted it be made from a satin material.
Take a look at how the completed dress turned out…
Thoughts on the dress? Would do you like or dislike about it?? Will you be entering the next giveaway?? (Which will be announced very soon) Let me know in the comments…
