2020 has been quite a year! Unfortunately, amongst other things, it led us to not be able to have a runway show. All of the shows that we were scheduled to appear in were cancelled.
But there’s always next year…hopefully!
One thing is for sure, I won’t take for granted being able to participate being in a show. I never realized how much it was missed until the option was no longer there. So, for reminiscing purposes, I wanted to show you the last show we did in 2019.

If you weren’t using Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, or any type video calling service. I bet that you are now. Many of us don’t have a choice. Its might be required for work or just to be able to stay in touch with loved ones that you dont get to see due to the pandemic.
Since we are spending much more time showing off our face and shoulders, we may as well make the most of it. Wouldn’t you agree?
Here are 5 tips to showing your face and shoulders with style!
#1: Rock Barettes
Barettes aren’t just for little girls anymore. They are for grown women too! Barettes add a new style to any look. Plus, they are easy to style. Simply part your hair and align them on one side or use them to decorate the base of your bun. If a barrettes aren’t your style, go with a headband. It’s all about the hair accessories these days. Actually, the options are endless.
#2: Lipstick
Lipstick is always one of my go-to accessories. It instantly adds some brightness to your face. Use this time to play with different shades and see what your “audience” thinks about it.
#3: Strong shoulders
Wear a top or a comfortable dress with a defined shoulder. A puffy shoulder look or shoulder pads will add some serious style to what’s showing of your frame.
#4: Dope Earrings
Earrings are the perfect face framer. Something unique that adds some sparkle with turn it up a notch.

Cop some temporary color and try it out. You can go with something very temporary like a pink spray. What’s wrong with a lil’ color in your hair? It washes out. Do that new bun style you’ve practicing on or the braids you learned how to do from YouTube. Don’t be afraid to take it there!

Nowadays, it’s essential that we keep our masks and sanitizer on deck when leaving the house.
To be honest, I never really go out. I let my husband do all of the store runs while the baby and I wait for him in the car. But when I absolutely must go out not only do I want to be stylish but I also want to make sure that I have my PPE on hand. Rummaging through my purse to find these essentials is not my ideal way of being prepared.
