Last week, a sketch of the latest piece I’ve been working on for the Fashion Not Fear Collection.
I’m excited to say that this piece is completed! This top is my idea of updated baseball jersey. The green is made up of a silky green material and the sleeves are made of a heavy black cotton fabric.
The back of it is hand embroidered with strings hanging to give it that worn, vintage look.
I absolutely love the way this top turned out! It is exactly how I sketched and imagined it would be. It will be available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. This top will soon be available to shop at Blue Labels Boutique. Stay tuned as all of the new Fashion Not Fear pieces will be released at one time!
Fall officially started a few weeks back. But you can’t tell some of us that because we are still enjoying warm, sunny days, denim cutoffs and time by the pool.
Depending on where you reside, a leather moto jacket will comfortably keep you warm. Or you may find yourself in need of some serious gear to protect you against Mother Nature. No matter which storm is headed your way, now is a better time than any to make sure you are stylish for its arrival.
Check out these 7 styles to shop for that will help you to fashionably, fight, fierce colder temps in Fall/Winter ’16…
Let Your Shoulder Lean
You can continue to rock cutout styles as the weather changes. Thank goodness for that. Make the look cold weather ready by going with long sleeves.

2. Velvet, Suede, Leather, oh my…
Fringe Choker
All Wrapped Up Skirt
Don’t Rust Me Flares
One of my personal favorites about colder temps is the ability to wear other textures. Suede, leather, velvet and other thicker materials don’t get to really play during the Summer. Everything from suede flares to velvet skirts, leather gloves and more. Fall is definitely the time to experiment with different fabrics.
3. Rock the Trench
A trench coat is one of the best combinations of chic and flattering when it comes to outerwear. The belt creates a defined waist and the bottom slightly flares out. Thus, showing off the hourglass you’re hiding underneath. 🙌
Military -inspired styles will be all over the place this Fall & Winter. Rock it and prepare to be saluted like a fashion solider.
5. Something mint, something blue…
These sorbert colors are usually in abundance during the Spring/Summer but don’t let that stray you. Pairing these light, girly colors with dark, edgy colors is the color palette for Fall/Winer ’16.
Belle Of The Ball Dress | Choies Boots | BLB Accessories
Stylish outerwear is of the upmost importance during Fall/Winter seasons for obvious reasons. Since it will probably be seen alot more that your outfit, make sure to select one that makes you feel great
7. Wrap Up In Wool
Will Wool Off The Shoulder Top
Wool will effectively keep you warm, for sure. But that doesn’t mean wearing a hot, chunky cable knit sweater. This two piece wool set is a great example of just how fly wool can be.
Thank goodness we finally made it to Friday. There’s nothing like some outfit inspiration to get your weekend kicked off the right way!
Skirts and dresses are not only one of my favorite things to wear, it’s also one of my favorite pieces to style people in. The bolder, the better and the Pretty Pleated Skirt is no exception.
The colorblocking makes it easy to keep the rest of the outfit simple because the skirt is doing all of the talking! Just make sure that you buckle both heels before going out. 😉
Capes are one of my favorite trends. The style is very simplistic but it’s so defining that it is the “it” piece to any outfit. I’ve always found that it’s one of my most asked about garments when I go out wearing it. “Where did you get that from?”, “Now that’s interesting” or “love your cape” are just a few of the comments but I’ve surely heard them all. Perhaps it’s the intrigue that a cape gives you. Do people revert to their favorite cape wearing super hero and suddenly feel safe? Or is it simply because the admirers know that the wearer of this fab piece is c-o-n-f-i-d-e-n-t. And they are either hating or appreciating. Either way, who cares…a girl has to wear what makes her feel good, right?
So, if you already have one in your fashion arsenal or if you are considering coping one yourself, check out these chic ways to wear a cape!

I’ve always considered a maxi dress as one of those pieces that are easy breezy because it gives you that pulled together look for any occasion. Most of the time, I’ll throw on a maxi dress with a cute pair of sandals and head out the door. Which is probably why it’s considered to be one of the most popular style in dresses. Of course, the style is always updated with a new trend just to keep it in the fashion game. Lately, one of the latest twists you will find is rocking one with a button front.
Since this dress is always part of my “style back up plan”, any new inspiration is always welcome.
If you are a button front maxi wearer yourself and need of a bit of inspiration. Check out some new ways to wear yours…
You can even make it shorter! Just leave some buttons open at the bottom and knot one side. 😉

Black will always be one of my favorite colors to wear. As a matter of fact, if you took a peek into my closet, you just might think that I attend funerals…ALOT! I’ve racked up a closet full of black clothes without even realizing it. Especially when it comes to choosing bottoms. 4 black mini & 2 maxi skirts 🙋, 3 black form-fitting & flowy dresses 🙋, 2 pairs of black slim fitting pants & boyfriend trousers 🙋, starting to see a pattern here?
Since my new discovery, I decided it was about time to change things up and put another color on my booty! But just how versatile are colored pants anyway? Well, I decided to challenge myself to styling in the Buckle Me Up Trousersfor 5 days just to see to how versatile they actually are. And here’s how it went:
