4 Ways To Start Feeling More Confident

Some people are always sure of themselves. They seem to be able to handle and breeze through whatever life throws at them. Of course, sometimes this is just how it looks on the outside. Many people are good at making it look like they are confident when, in reality, they have very low self-esteem.

People also have a hard time being themselves and letting their personalities shine through because they are frightened and don’t have enough confidence. If you don’t have the confidence to do what you want, it can be hard to live the life you want and do all the things you want to do.

But don’t worry; you can teach yourself to have confidence. So, in this blog post, we’ll look at some of the ways you can quickly become more confident and happy.

    Help Others

When we don’t feel good about ourselves, we tend to focus on what we think are our flaws. We keep thinking about this instead of what we can do. So, if you help other people and make them feel good about themselves, it will automatically make you feel better about yourself.

    Relax More

Many people use products to help them with this. These kinds of products can help you feel more relaxed and sure of yourself. You feel more at peace and happy with the world around you. When you feel this way, it’s natural that you’ll have more confidence.

Invest in a pampering session. We all deserve to be pampered now and then, and there’s no doubt that this can do wonders for your confidence. It doesn’t matter if you’re getting a new haircut or going to get your nails done. Do something that will make you happy with yourself. Why don’t you make an appointment for a massage or facial? There are some great spa packages available today that are made to make you feel rested and well at the end. You could even treat yourself to a diamond tennis bracelet.

    Be Ready

One of the main reasons many people don’t feel confident in many situations is that they haven’t done enough to prepare. After all, going to work or school without being ready for the day can cause stress. You can start to feel scared and doubt your skills. But if you had just set aside some time to plan and get ready for the day, you would feel much calmer and in control. Small things like this can make a big difference when it comes to making you feel better about yourself. When you know that everything is in order and that you’re ready for the day ahead, you can naturally approach it with more confidence.

    Stay Away From Bad Things

Now you need to start thinking about your inner circle, which of course includes all of your friends and family. Think about this, and think about whether there is anyone who makes you feel bad about yourself. People who don’t feel good about themselves often try to bring down those around them, which is not a good trait to have. You need to put yourself first and think about what will help you grow and make you feel good about yourself. Spend more time with people like this.

So, there you have it: some of the things you should think about if you want to become a much happier and more confident person quickly. We hope that the ideas above will be helpful to you.

As the new year has just begun you’re bound to be thinking or have already thought about how you can change your life and yourself. However, change isn’t always the best and can often end up with failure and disappointment because ultimately you are you, so how about you work on being the best version of yourself! If you haven’t already, you should really get to know yourself, learn to love yourself, and then you can see where you want to – not need to, but want to improve. So here are a few ways you can become the best you:

    Don’t Worry About Failing

Easier said than done, yes. But if you don’t try, you’ll never know. Are you worried about what other people think? Are you concerned about the future and what you hope to achieve? Do you tell people beforehand that you don’t expect to succeed or thrive in order to lower expectations?

There is a real condition called atychiphobia, or fear of failure, but it is important to realise that failure is a natural part of life and doesn’t signal the end of the world. Most highly successful people, such as J.K Rowling, Richard Branson, and Bill Gates have all failed at some point in their life, read their books and feel inspired. Remember: “Fear will do one thing and one thing only: hold you back.” – Kya Aliana

    Don’t Be Afraid Of Success

It’s very common, you worry when everything is going well, but in your mind, life can’t possibly be this great, so naturally, something goes wrong as expected? People are afraid of success for a number of reasons, such as fear of losing their identity, more responsibility being added, raised expectations, and not being able to handle success well. But success is a good thing and something you deserve. You can handle success by staying authentic and remembering who you are, accept that you won’t please everyone, and be comfortable with every decision you make.

    Work Out In The Morning

A simple one, but so effective. If you can drag yourself out of bed in the morning, your energy will be much better or the rest of the day and your health will be better for it. You’ll get it out of the way, you won’t sit through work dreading your workout later and talking yourself out of it, and you won’t sit at home in the evening feeling guilty for not doing it. Whether you want to lose weight or just need toning workout plans, no one ever regrets a workout, getting up and getting active is the best way to start the day.

    Be Grateful

It might sound silly, but give it a try. Every morning or night, write down three things that you’re grateful for that day. It will make you feel much happier. You could write them in a little book or on post-its and put them into a jar. Then, anytime you’re feeling down or stuck, just have a flick through the book or take one note out of the jar and read it, it’s incredible.

    Don’t Criticise Or Judge Others

To become the best version of yourself, you need to try and get rid of negative thoughts and energy. If you’re thinking negative thoughts about others and feeling negativity towards others, then you’re throwing negative energy at people and potentially damaging a person’s self-worth and self-esteem. You’re also throwing negative energy out into the universe yourself. Remember that nice people do come out on top, it might not seem it at the time, and it might feel like it takes longer, but ultimately you will achieve more than those who are selfish and bitter with the world. You can avoid criticising and judging others by not assuming anything; know it’s not about you, and pretend to walk in their shoes to see the situation from their perspective.

    Be Positive About Yourself

Don’t say to yourself, “I will never lose weight.”; “I’m so stupid, I could never do that job.”; “I’ll look stupid and weird if I try to wear some of those clothes.” Try to silence your inner critic and put a positive spin on things. You can start by eliminating negative vocabulary, such as always, can’t, never (and ever), won’t, but, should, and try. As Yoda would say, “Do or do not. There is no try.” and remember that you can do it, think of all the things you have achieved already – you can do it.

Use “I am…” statements.  Ex. “I am pretty”  “I am confident” “I am strong”  “I am smart”  Saying this statement is most effective when repeated over and over.  Do a Wonder Woman Pose- getting your body into a strong confident position for several minutes automatically increases confidence.  I suggest starting the day with this pose and then using before an important date, meeting, etc.

  • How To Have Confidence In Your Uniqueness

How To Have Confidence In Your Uniqueness

While you might be fearless, you’re only human, and we all have areas where we lack confidence.  In particular, we often have fashion fears that hold us back due to the fear of what the outside world might think.

Indeed, we often feel shy or at least reluctant to truly stand out from the crowd in terms of our outfits, yet there are two fundamental principles that mean you can have more confidence in your personal style no matter what you’re wearing or what situation you find yourself in.

Confidence is like a snowball, in that, the more confidence you have the more confident you become, and whilst confidence is something internal, dressing well is like wrapping up a precious gift… the most important thing is the gift that’s inside, not how it’s packaged, but does the packaging affect the way people view and respond to the gift that’s inside?  You bet.

Therefore, it’s important we come across well – but what’s more important is that we are comfortable and confident in our own personal style; and there are two core areas that you want to look at in this realm; the first it to pick clothes that express your unique personality in the sense they are focused on your own personal tastes, and secondly, ensure you are dressed in a way that allows you to relax and be comfortable in your environment.

    FOCUS ON YOUR OWN TASTES

Try not to be swept up with current fashion trends as these are ever changing and subject to the opinion of the masses – rather than your own personal opinion.  Make sure you choose clothes that you, personally, love. Don’t rely on someone else’s opinion. Have an opinion of your own and flesh out your wardrobe on the basis of what you like.  If you want to wear a name necklace then wear a name necklace.  Your fashion is your own unique choice, it should be up to you what you want to wear, not dictated by fashion magazines or peers.

    RELAX AND BE COMFORTABLE

You don’t want to feel uptight about what you’re wearing.  Imagine, going to the gym, and knowing that your t-shirt is a little too small so that when you put your hands above your head, the base of the t-shirt rises, revealing your stomach.  The key point is that you want to feel relaxed and comfortable in what you’re wearing – try to avoid clothes that might be super fashionable but make it hard to move or just make you feel uncomfortable.

So, there are the two fundamental principles to having more confidence in your unique style – dress in a way that expresses who you are according to your tastes (rather than following the fashion lemmings) and make sure what you’re wearing is comfortable enough to allow you to relax and be the person you truly are.

Remember, you are unique.  Just like your fingerprints or DNA, nobody is the same as you, therefore you were born to stand out not blend in.  Have confidence in yourself and embrace your uniqueness.
