We usually feature our fearless woman on Friday but we decided to make it Saturday this week. I figured since today is the last day of 2016, might as well kick off the new year with some inspiration that we could all use.
I am excited to introduce you to this weeks’ fearless woman. Anita Bentata became fearless at age 16. How does a woman become fearless at such an early age? When you have been through some of the things that life has presented to Anita, it might help you to understand better.
Feeling inspired? Leave a comment and let us know. If you would have a fearless story to share and would like to be considered for your own episode, email me at Kristie@bluelabelsboutique.com. I hope you all have a wonderful celebratory weekend and we will see you in 2017.
Happy Friday, we finally made it! Am I the only one who’s ready to kick off the heels and pop a bottle? Soon enough, let’s get to the business, for now. 🍷
I am super excited to share with you the story of this weeks’ fearless woman. Desh Dixon is author of the book, “No More Broken Records: 5 Tips To Change Your Tune and Transform Your Life”. She finished the book in 2014 but the judgement she feared would come along with opening herself up kept her from releasing it. Then something happened…
Find out what that was and how she is empowering other women not to settle in this episode of Fearless Woman.
She dropped some serious jewels about self worth and fearlessness, didn’t she? Thanks for sharing! If you to keep up with Desh, you can find her on FB @petitewithpurpose and Twitter & IG @DeshDixon, and her book is available on Amazon.
I have learned so much since the first episode of the fearless woman series. I introduced a woman who literally woke up one morning and said, “I’m going to a foreign country to teach people how to speak English.” A few months later, she found herself in Japan, doing just that!
There was another woman who lost her fiancé in the 9/11 tragedy and found a way to not only get through it but she started a successful linen company through her pain. During another episode a woman shares her story of leaving her husband and family to find herself, only to realize she already had everything she ever wanted right there at home. Then there was the story of the courageous woman who was swept up in Hurricane Katrina and found herself having to start all over again.
I can go on and on about the woman that I’ve had the honor of introducing you to but I’ve found that there’s one thing that they all had in common. No matter what each has been through, they define their what it is to live bold, to be daring, and courageous…their way.
Lucky for you, this weeks’ story is no different. Lillie Cawthorn is director of a Sydney-based Investment Property Trust and has been investing in industrial real estate for the past 15 years. She found herself exploring the reason why very few women invest in industrial real estate. Lillie shares her story of how she found a way to live her fearless life through financial freedom and how you can too!
I’ll let her tell you in her own words…
“I want to because I can and I can because you told me I can’t”
I’d like to thank Lillie for sharing her story! And did she say earn extra income?? 🙋
