Last week, you were introduced to the Valorous Jacket. It is the latest to be released in the Fashion Not Fear Collection.
The Valorous Skirt was previously made and already available on Blue Labels Boutique. The skirt needed something. It wasn’t until recently that I figured out that it needed a matching jacket. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great with other pieces, too. But if you know me, you know I love a good two piece set.
This jacket and skirt is definitely the set you’ve been missing in your life.
Thoughts on the set?? Let me know in the comments…
The Unabashed Dress was released earlier this year and let me tell you…it’s pretty amazing.
Firstly, I love anything that feels good on my skin. This dress is super slinky, soft, and stretchy. To say it’s comfortable is an understatement.
Plus, if you live for a puffy sleeve, then you have found yourself in the right place.
Check it out…
This handcrafted beauty is part of the Fashion Nit Fear Collection. Which means it’s limited in quantity and size. Soooo, get it while you can! Let me know your thoughts in the comments…
If you have been watching my YouTube channel, you would’ve seen a preview to some of the new fabric that will be used for the Fashion Not Fear Collection.
The first piece was created and the outcome was the Cheeky Jacket. It debuted last week.
This latest piece will be available later on this week and it’s coming along nicely.
It is made up of purple with a brown pinstripe. Those two colors might not seem like they coordinate. But take it from me when I saw, it’s a great combination!
Here is a rough sketch of the upcoming piece.
This is going to be a good one! But I feel like I always say that?! Stay tuned for the drop!
A few weeks back, a preview sketch was released of the latest pieces to be available in the handcrafted collection, Fashion Not Fear Collection.
I’m excited to announce that the Cheeky Jacket dropped today!
It’s made of a plaid print featuring colors of brown, tan, pink, ivory, and black. And the fact that it’s cotton makes it heavy enough to block the wind but light enough that you can still wear pieces under it without feeling too hot.
I love that this jacket doesn’t have any front buttons or zipper closure. This helps you to tightly tie the sash and accentuate the waist.
Now, let’s talk sleeves!! These vintage inspired sleeves are EVERYTHING. The have a form fitting lower portion that tightly fits the wrist. The upper parts is puffy around the elbow area.
If classic with a twist is your style. Then you will find yourself wearing the right thing.
And did I mention the matching skirt??
The skirt has a phone pocket. Yes, you read that right.
Wrap yourself in this Fall worthy beauty today!
Thoughts on the jacket?? Share them in the comments…
It’s Fall y’all! I always want an excuse to say that. Although, I love the Texas weather, I always find myself saying I’m ready to take a break from the sweat after being scorched for months. So, Fall is always a welcome season for me.
The Dashing Jacket will definitely be my “go to” this Fall.
I like it because it’s not heavy. I tend to get hot with all of the layers worn during Fall. But this jacket is perfect whether you’re wearing a turtleneck, cable knit sweater, or anything else underneath.
The weather in Texas is still pretty warm. No jacket needed. But I’m anxiously awaiting the first day the temp drops even a few degrees.
I love it with jeans. And wearing it with the matching skirt takes it to another level.
Thoughts on the Dashing Jacket?? Would you wear it with the matching skirt?? Let me know in the comments…
A couple of days ago, I posted a sketch on IG of the first piece from the Fall 2021 FNF Collection.
Right after that post, I got to work on constructing the garment. And although, I loved the rough sketch. I have made alot of changes to it once I started manipulating the fabric.
This collection may be the best one yet!
Have I said that before?
Nevertheless, I feel this way for a few reasons. Firstly, the fabric that I’ve sourced. The classic prints range from the colors of the sun to the multitude of colors found on the leaves that are about to start falling from the trees.
Another reason this may be the best yet is because of the construction. Each collection I create, I try to involve more techniques and aim to put my own spin on things. Pinpointing my signature style (although I haven’t quite found it yet) is my main goal. That will be reflected in this collection.
Also, since some of us are still in the house 24/7 and others are outside. I felt that it was necessary to make dresses that you can wear both in the house and if you’re out and about.
The first piece will be released next week and I can’t wait for you all to check it out.
